I can only describe our stay at Ye Old Ferrie Inn, as perfect. We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff who could not do enough for us. The room was well equipped, clean and tidy with very very nice views. If we ever get the opportunity to stay here again we will not hesitate.

Had a wonderful time. Very warm welcome, room was very nice and comfy with lovely views of the river. Had a 3 course birthday meal for eight of us, this was excellent. Staff were very helpful, nothing was to much trouble and we were all made very welcome. real ales, local cider's, mulled wine and winter Pimm's made for a very relaxed stay I must say.

Our first stay at this unpretentious country pub right on the riverside, in one of the most picturesque locations imaginable, river views from bedroom and dining room. Deep leather sofas and log fires in the cosy bar, great local beer and amazing food, with fantastic curry options on Thursday. Jamie and his staff were very welcoming and friendly, offering really good service. The location is ideal for visiting The Forest of Dean, Hereford and the Wye valley right down to Chepstow.

Received a very warm welcome from Jamie who is the owner. He helped with our suitcases and escorted us to our rooms. We then sat in front of a beautiful log fire in the bar and enjoyed a relaxing drink. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable and a good assortment of tea/coffee/chocolate and biscuits on tray. Bathroom towels plentiful and white and fluffy. An excellent shower and nice toiletries. The food was good pub food all freshly served but the breakfast was as good as any I have had. We will certainly be returning to enjoy the beautiful location and to do some walking.

6 of us booked for a birthday meal here today and it was exceptional. Not only was the food brilliant, but the service was second to none. To the extent that the owner drove 8 miles each way just to buy two bottles of Prosecco that we asked for. He also arranged a beautiful tiramisu birthday cake too. If only every restaurant / inn went to such lengths. Thank you for making it such a special day. You are a credit to your trade.
