Dine in our oak extension, overlooking the River Wye.
Soak up the atmosphere of our five hundred year old inn, with its flag stone floors, oak beams and log fires. If you prefer the alfresco experience, we also have many outdoor tables on our riverside terrace to choose from.
Whether you’re in the mood for a traditional pub classic or something slightly more adventurous, we’re sure you’ll find something to suit on our menu. We’re open every day, and serve lunch, dinner, Sunday roast (served October to March), and a full English breakfast for staying guests. All of our dishes make the absolute most of all the local produce the area has to offer. This is why our menu changes according to the seasons, because we want you to experience the very best local produce and ingredients.
We’re proud of our drinks’ menu – From local gins to Wye Valley Brewery Real Ale, we have worked hard to put together a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits sourced locally from the Wye Valley, Gloucestershire, Welsh Borders and surrounding areas. Our well-stocked bar, including cask ales, fine wines and spirits to suit every taste, will taste all the better when enjoyed either on our riverside terrace overlooking the River Wye or by our crackling wood burners.
